The Western Washington University student who died this morning after falling from Nash Residence Hall on campus has been identified as Timothy Crossan, 19, a U.S. citizen with a hometown listed as Chene-Bougeries, Switzerland.

University Police is investigating the case as a possible suicide. However, the official cause of death remains open until the Whatcom County Medical Examiner’s Office issues their finding.
