All central WWU computer services will be unavailable from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 28, for necessary maintenance and testing of the university's core networking infrastructure. There will be no access to any IT services that require inbound traffic, outbound traffic or on-campus traffic. The WWU website will be down.
University servers will remain operational; however, there will no way to connect to them during this planned outage. Similarly, hosted IT services such as Canvas will be functioning but inaccessible because authentication requires use of the university's network.
Student email will be available as long as students do not connect to it from computers connected to the WWU wired/wireless network.
